Lee 'Scratch' Perry was a pioneer of dub music and worked together with artists such as Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Clash and The Beastie Boys among many others. This legendary album of Perry's studio band The Upsetters brings together a whopping 33 Perry-produced tracks of the very best of Jamaican reggae music. Some very rare tracks and artists are featured here such as Junior Murvin's "Cross Over", Winston Heywood's "Long, Long Time" and Eric Donaldson's "Freedom Street". Originally released in 1990 by Trojan Records, Build The Ark is available here on 180g vinyl 3LP with printed innersleeves.
