Audiophile-Grade 180g Vinyl Reissue Remastered By UE Nastasi At Sterling Sound
As the band toured relentlessly in support of their breakthrough first album, they beat the sophomore slump with this inspired set of tracks. Using the brand new Alesis HR16 drum machine along with some primitive sampling devices, the two-man attack of the band flourished. The gated-guitar of "Ana Ng" would become a signature sound for the band, while The Ordinaires make a guest appearance on "Kiss Me, Son of God." Idlewild Recordings and They Might Be Giants are pleased to present this reissue of the band's classic 1988 album Lincoln. This is truly an audiophile effort with the album remastered by UE Nastasi from Sterling Sound and pressed on 180-gram vinyl LP. The original artwork has been respected, with Brian Dewan's amazing cover and the lyric liner note sleeve fully reproduced. This has been a labor of love for the band and they are thrilled to have the opportunity to get this piece of TMBG history back on wax in a package worthy of its legacy.
