Tim McGraw returns to Big Machine - where he issued the three albums - Two Lanes of Freedom (2013), Sundown Heaven Town (2014) and Damn Country Music (2015) and the hit singles "Highway Don't Care" with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, "Meanwhile Back at Mama's" with Faith Hill and "Humble and Kind" - for the release of his newest record, Here On Earth. Produced by McGraw and Byron Gallimore, the 16-track collection is ushered in by the emotional single "I Called Mama" which reminds listeners to keep in touch with the people that matter – especially their moms.
McGraw describes Here On Earth as "a tapestry of life. For me, an album tells a story, and I've always tried to do that with all my records. And the way that I developed musically, and the way I learned to listen to music, was through albums...So I like the process of an album, and I like what an album does, and how an album allows you to settle into an artist and listen to their story...Anyone who knows me knows how much I love to be outside in the summertime playing music. Everyone is there, sharing the moment, having fun and letting loose. To be here on earth in this moment, together, sharing our love for music and getting through all that life is throwing us – that's what it's all about."
