Trivium set the metal world ablaze with their 2005 Roadrunner Records debut Ascendancy - released when the band was still teenagers. Now eight records into their career, the Orlando, FL outfit has led a resurgence for the metal and trash world - combining classic technicality and speed as melody - staying true to the style of legends like Iron Maiden and Megadeth while infusing a modern sense of melody and energy. 2011's In Waves remains one of the band's most powerful studio efforts to date. Trivium closes out 2018 with colored double vinyl reissues of four of their early Roadrunner albums - Ascendancy (2005), The Crusade (2006), Shogun (2008) and In Waves (2011) - for the first time since their original releases.
