Trivium stormed onto the metal scene in 2005 with their critically acclaimed Roadrunner Records debut album Ascendency and continued their dominance with 2006 follow-up The Crusade. Now eight records into their career, the Orlando, FL outfit has led a resurgence for the metal and trash world - combining classic technicality and speed as melody - staying true to the style of legends like Iron Maiden and Megadeth while infusing a modern sense of melody and energy. Trivium closes out 2018 with colored double vinyl reissues of four of their early Roadrunner albums - Ascendancy (2005), The Crusade (2006), Shogun (2008) and In Waves (2011) - for the first time since their original releases.
