Vertical Horizon is an American alternative rock band formed in 1991 by Georgetown University undergraduates Matthew Scannell and Keith Kane. Initially, the band began as an acoustic duo, but they later expanded their sound and lineup. They gained mainstream success with their 1999 album Everything You Want.
