2002's The Great Divide served as the fiftieth studio album by music luminary Willie Nelson. The stirring 12-track collection of originals and covers contains several duets and musical collaborations with artists such as Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty, Lee Ann Womack, Alison Krauss, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Brian McKnight, and Bonnie Raitt. The album produced two chart singles in the Bernie Taupin co-written "Mendocino County Line" and "Maria (Shut Up and Kiss Me)", which respectively reached No. 22 and No. 41 on the Hot Country Songs charts. Also included is a cover of "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)", previously a hit for Kenny Rogers and the First Edition. "Mendocino County Line" won the Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration. The album peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Available for the first time on vinyl!
