A Symphony of Speed and Sound, Sophistication and Style: British-Made REL T/9x SE Subwoofer Is as Fast as It Looks, Features Custom Lacquer and Badging
The REL T/9x SE subwoofer is as fast as the three avaialble custom colors — shades long associated with Italian sports cars and motorsports — that grace its exterior suggest. Finished off with chrome feet and special badging, this truly "special edition" sub exudes stylistic flair and sonic panache, uncommon sophistication and practical luxury.
Consider: The seven coats of lacquer on the British-built T/9x SE took more than a year to perfect. The badge atop takes three days to make, and each foot undergoes a three-day chroming process. Why? REL meticulously layers a blend of copper, nickel, and chrome, allowing each coat a day to set before adding the next. Concern about quality to such an extent is rare in today’s age. So is the engineering throughout T/9x SE.
Enhanced with a carbon-fiber center cap with improved stiffness for better articulation and decreases the moving mass of its 10-inch long-throw FibreCone driver for quicker responsiveness and a notable 1.2dB increase in output (compared to prior designs), T/9x SE personifies speed and dynamics, In the same way, this 45-pound looker embodies power and precision by way of its 300-watt Class A/B amplifier equipped with MOSFETs and integrated heat sinks.
Compatible with REL’s peerless Arrow wireless system, T/9x SE includes streamlined 8ms input filters to ensure seamless user experiences. Straightforward rotary controls for gain, crossover, and LFE Gain — as well as an intuitive 0–180 degree phase switch — mean setup and tweaking settings on T/9x SE is a breeze.
Most importantly, you’ll notice much deeper, more controlled, focused, extended, and present low-end passages with T/9x SE (or better still, a pair) in your system. REL models also have a knack for improving the definition, realism, and naturalism of all frequencies — and T/9x SE certainly delivers in that regard.
