The Sovtek 5881 / 6L6WGC is a vacuum tube that is used in many current production tube amplifiers. It has a warm tone and good "bite". It is built to rigid military standards and can tolerate higher voltages than other 6L6s. It is often used as a replacement for the old 7027 model in vintage Ampegs.
